What artwork do I need to get started?

Anything that shows your idea. We accept all standard formats, including JPG, PNG, PDF, AI and EPS, and vector files reproduce most sharply, but a rough sketch or a written description is enough. Our designers turn it into a finished coin design at no cost.

Can each side of the coin have a different design?

Yes. Front and back artwork are both included in the price. Upload a back design in the cart, or tell us what you want on the back and we will design it for you.

Will I see the design before production?

Yes. Every order includes a free digital proof, normally ready within 24 hours of receiving your artwork, with unlimited revisions. We do not produce physical samples; nothing goes into production until you approve the proof.

What is the difference between soft enamel, hard enamel and no colour?

Soft enamel sits slightly below the raised metal lines, so you can feel the texture of the design. Hard enamel is filled level with the metal and polished smooth. No colour leaves the relief as bare metal under a shiny or antique plating, the classic look for military and commemorative coins. You choose the style in the cart.

What sizes and thicknesses are available?

Coins come in five sizes from 1.25" to 2.5". Standard coins are 3.0 mm thick; heavier 3.5 mm and 4.0 mm coins can be selected in the cart.

What edges and special effects can I add?

Choose from 12 edge styles, including rope, chain, reeded and sunburst, and add edge engraving, sequential numbering, a spinner or a bottle opener from the cart. Spinner and bottle-opener coins carry a one-off mould fee; reorders of the same design skip it, and we keep your mould on file for 2 years.

How are the coins packaged?

Every coin is individually packed in a protective PVC pouch. This is included free with every order.

Are there other packaging options?

Yes. You can upgrade to a coin capsule, plastic box, velour pouch, velour box, acrylic or metal coin stand, or a coin holder keychain from the cart, priced per coin.

Can I add a custom printed card?

Yes. A printed card insert carries your own artwork and has a one-off setup fee. Add it from the cart and tell us in the order notes if you have any special packing instructions.
