On 14 March, a long-term client in Venezuela sent over the design for a space-themed fun run set for 2 May. The race date couldn’t move, and as a repeat customer they expected the same smooth experience as every order before.
The timeline
- 14 March — Design received; quote and production schedule sent the same day.
- 16 March — Order confirmed. The 3D model was prepared within hours, with the starship outline and lettering tuned for die-casting.
- 21 March — Mould finished.
- 9 April — Production and final checks done; medals shipped.
- 23 April — Medals arrived in Venezuela, 9 days before the event.
- 2 May — Race day.

Why it went smoothly

The finished medal is a die-cast starship shape in antique silver with a red printed message, hung on a deep purple space-print ribbon — and it got plenty of attention at the finish line.
