CaribeRace takes place at Playa Mansa in La Guaira, on Venezuela’s Caribbean coast. Swimmers choose between 1 km, 2 km and 3 km courses, there’s a 500 m race for kids aged 6–12, and a 3 × 500 m mixed relay.
The organisers wanted a finisher medal that felt like the sea it was earned in — bright, round and unmistakably Caribbean.
Medals for swimmers
Open water medals are usually handed out to people who are wet, sandy and still catching their breath. A clear logo, strong colour and a sturdy ribbon matter more than fine detail. We kept the CaribeRace wave logo bold and the colours true to the event’s orange swim caps.
Beyond the medal
Swim events often add custom patches for swim bags and lapel pins for officials and lifeguards.
