Athletes from the West Kazakhstan, Aktobe and Atyrau regions met at the stadium in Atyrau for the JAZ Run 2025, competing over Olympic distances: 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m and 5000 m.
The organisers, Run Club Atyrau, wanted to encourage more people into the sport — and to make the podium feel worth climbing.
One design, many podiums
A meet with six distances and several age groups means a lot of podiums in one afternoon. One medal design in gold, silver and bronze kept things simple for the organisers and gave every place a clear reward, paired with an event-coloured ribbon.
Beyond the medal
Running clubs often order club patches for kit and lapel pins for members alongside their event medals.
