The Jogging & Trail de l’Hermeton takes runners through the woods and back roads around Romedenne, in the Philippeville area of southern Belgium. Close to 900 people lined up across three distances — a 6 km short course, a 14 km race that’s part of a regional challenge series, and a 33 km trail with 179 finishers.
With families, club runners and serious trail specialists all at the same start, the medal had to work for everyone: a keepsake for first-timers and something the regulars would be happy to add to the collection.
